Resources from events and useful presentations for teachers and other professionals.
In June 2011, the 14-19 Team at Manchester City Council held a conference entitled Heading for HE?
Co-ordinated and organised by Careers Solutions Development Team; the aim of the conference was to bring together young disabled people, their parents and professionals who work with them.
The conference provided an opportunity for everyone to get together and discuss progression into Higher Education for young people with additional needs.
It was important that a legacy from the conference was created and that resources both from the conference and from the wider arena of LDD work was made available to delegates and other interested parties.
On the following webpage you will find information and links to help you to make informed decisions about Higher Education.
